January 20th, 2021 was not just an historic day for our country and our globe. This day represented the aspirational beginning of the end for our pandemic lifestyles. The many hopeful emblems of controlling this virus have helped so many industries begin to open up and rebuild. What does this look like for the food and beverage profession?

Whilst hospitality related positions create jobs for hundreds of thousands of people, after a taste of balance and a respite from a long, late, gruelling lifestyle the vibrance of the trade no longer has the same appeal. In alignment with our commander in chief’s ‘build back better’ mentality, how too, can the food and beverage industry forage a more sustainable future for its talented, committed stewards of the trade?

Bobby Stuckey, M.S.

Master Sommelier/Co-Owner: Frasca Hospitality Group (Frasca Food and Wine, Sunday Vinyl, Tavernetta, Pizzeria Locale Boulder), Pizzeria Locale Denver, Scarpetta Wines

Jack Mason, M.S.

Jack Mason, State Portfolio Manager at Republic National Distribution Company-Texas, achieved Master Sommelier status at the very young age of 27 and one of the youngest to do so. He is one of only 12 esteemed Master Sommeliers currently in the state of Texas and one of 172 Master Sommeliers in North America.
